| First off... The entry says "finished". Clearly, that's not the case. Annoying, that. Second, while both authors generally tend to paint their characters in broad strokes, the people populating this story seem even more archetypal (to use one phrase) than usual. These are all characters who can be described in one sentence, as opposed to individuals. That's not necessarily a bad thing, if the themes are on a similar scale, but that may not be the case here. This story needs editing badly - typos, grammar errors, repititious description and shoehorned-in exposition abound, and there are other inconsistencies. Some stuff just didn't agree with me personally. The central plot device is a flagrant, if acknowledged, rip-off. As is usual, the female-to-male end of the body swap is given short shrift. I know you guys can do better than this. |

| I loved it! I have two suggestions though - the first (and hopefully relatively easy) is to add the non consensual tag to this story. It serves as a trigger warning for the brutal and sudden rape scene. The second is probably a style thing, and take it with a grain of salt. Everyone seemed to have the same voice. That may be dialectical or regional, but sometimes it was hard to pick up who was speaking without explicit cues. Again, really enjoyed the reversal of the usual bodysuit trope, and definitely hoping to see more. |
