This is a very good story for a first-time writer. My only gripe is that it seems a bit rushed. The changes to the characters are TOO complete for the time span. I realize this is fantasy, but even fantasies need to be at least slightly believable to draw in the reader. I DID like the story ( good premise ) and hope Barney will give us another very soon.
