| Nice job. The original story is called "Dark Angel" by Edward Bryant. It first appeared in the anthology book "Terrors" edited by Charles L. Grant (mostly known as the original place to find the Stephen King story "Survivor Type") from 1982 and which has been sitting on my shelf for 24 years now. The book has 2 other gender switch related stories as well, Pumpkinhead and Dark Tree Dark Tide. |
