| Awesome story! Great setting and characters. The only thing I really saw that is easy to improve on is the apparent overuse of exclamation points in the beginning of the story which was a little distracting but did not detract from the wonderful work you've done on this story. The detail is absolutely amazing and the effective use of German accented English was clever, however one question though. Why didn't the Germans speak to one another in straight German instead of accented English? That was the only thing I didn't understand, because it would seem to me that would be the preferred language of choice among them. Of course then you'd have to point it out in the narration that though it was English, they were really speaking in pure German. Great story though. If there is a part three as the ending suggests, I eagerly await it. Keep up the good work. |
