| The story reminds me of Sailor Moon. But hey, I am a Sailor Moon fan, so what can I say. :-) The story is a little on the cheesy side. I mean monsters, magic, and other realms are much more better suited for teen & pre-teen characters than for a full grown adult. A suggestion: How about adding another character who is a *real* genetic girl in her teens. I think it would be interesting to see how Mitch and a genetic girl interacts in situations like this. And while I am at it, here's a few ideas in characters whose secret identity is some ###### Angel. animal of some kind small pre-teen boy who just discovered girls priest or monk in regilous conflict & boy crushes Parent who must protect his/her kids & Earth I see real potentail for to become a Pastel Angle story universe. So, Scott, how about opening it up for other writers? Just like SRU, YOBS, Tales of Djinnar, Great Shift, Altered Fates. etc.. |

| I really enjoyed reading this story! Its characters were realistic, not overly contrived and likable. The story premise was simple, yet the twists made it very interesting! I LOVE the virtual reality world theme! Perhaps this could be made into a public theme, similar to the SRU or Altered Fates lines? Thank you! |

| GOOD - like a Valentine's Day chocolate bon-bon: sweet and delicious - leaving a craving for 'just one more!' I liked it very much... I believe this site would be well served by more witty short-shorts - writings without the heavy breathing - like this little Whitman Sampler piece of a love tale. Do some more. |
| Cleaning Up The Mess Details |
| I really, really enjoyed reading this story. Really! It is rare for me to find a story that I wish would never end, but this is one for sure. I especially liked the way you had Joey stay a boy in a girl's clothes ... speaking from experience, that is very often the way it happens, especially at that tender age. The only thing I missed was Mom dragging Joey through the toy aisle and making him pick out his new Barbies and maybe a little girl's make up kit and costume jewelry. Maybe next time! Regarding mechanics, there's nothing a good anal-retentive proofreader can't fix ("petticoating" instead of "petty coating," stuff like that) ... otherwise, great first posting! Keep up the good work!!! In short, I look forward to Part II with much anticipation. I only hope that you follow your heart and not be affected too much by what you think others may want. And, no, I do NOT endorse this lifestyle for any unwilling child. I do, however, understand the difference between fantasy and reality. |
