"That's her, the woman who used a medallion to change me into a woman!" "Well, go to her and ask her to change you back." "I can't, I'm liking being a woman too much, and am developing feelings for a man near me."

It's a toss up as who does better stories, The Professor or Christopher Leeson (maybe they are the same person). Anyway, another fantastic Ovid story! Looking forward to more.

Tremendous! Sounds like someone's going to be reassigned to secretarial or receptionist duties soon!

I meant to be brief but then read some of the other reviews. This was a perfect ending. I'm really not sure why some of the others read forced fem stories if they don't want the protagonist to be, ultimately, forced. Some of us have rape fantasies and slavery fantasies and fantasies of being forced, and this was a perfect story. One reviewer pointed out that slavery is a real thing: so is murder, war, mayhem and many other terrible things which are used as scenarios to drive drama film and fantasy. Writing a fictional story like this does not condone anyone acing this way in the real world, it is a vehicle for a transport of the imagination, so that people with a dark fantasy life can scratch their itch in safety ... because us dark fantasists know well where the boundary between reality and fantasy are and do not, in our real lives, want to go anywhere near the real thing. Another reviewer thought that the protagonist was weak because s/he feared pain. There are very few human beings wo do not fear pain, and Laura was presented with the reality of pain several times. There would be very, very few humans who could not be conditioned by such pain: it's Pavlovian; it's visceral; pain speaks directly to the body and if repeated in the same situation enough times it can more or less by-pass the will and intelligence and enforce behavioural responses for most people and creatures. Most people spend most of their lives making the same mistakes over and over to avoid far less invasive pains that described here. So I found the coercion the take used quite convincing. It was a well written story, a finely woven tale (yes, apart from a few spellings) and a carefully crafted forced fem story with some punch. It's just fiction. No one was actually hurt in the creation of this tale because the people involved do not exist.

not much disappoints the reader in this fine example of a great shift story. I agree with Eric that carmen acted strangely. Perhaps an infant had control of her body and fell accidentally. Carmen may be in another body elsewhere! Even the infant! There were some errors in grammer spread out thru the story but nothing that made the story unreadable. ON the contrary, it was an involving story with many interesting surprises. I hope to read more, maybe even a sequel!

The author of The Bomber has come up with an intriguing premise for a darn good yarn. However, despite the fact that there is some good attention to World War Two era period detail, the story suffers from insuffient character and plot development. The story reads more like a synopsis than an actual tale. I was left with wanting to know much more. One drawback of TG writing is the sketchy treatment given to the fundamental basics of writing just so we can get to the 'good stuff': where the protagonist dons female clothing. I read a story similar to The Bomber in which a service man pretends to be a girl to go into hiding. It was called the Triple Echo and was later made into a movie during the '70's starring Glenda Jackson and Oliver Reed. I haven't seen the film but I can recommend that you go to your local library and check out the slim volume that contains the story. It is written by a non-TG author and has all the delicious bits of good writing that we all crave. Be forwearned: like many non-TG writers, the author of the Triple Echo manages to introduce a tragic ending.
