| This is one of your best stories yet. It gives a closer look into Penelope's painful past that helps shape who she will be in the future. | I agree with the others in that this is a really nice story! Very realistic, and I'll go against the grain and say that I thought Carl's death was realistic. Abusers get very focused on their target and don't seem to notice their surroundings, especially if their target's as close as Andrea was. How totally appropriate and ironic that an uneducated, bigoted, mysogynistic, abusive SOB who worked running a junkyard is killed by a car! At least Andrea will have some money now after selling off the business with Aunt Clara's business savvy and Marnie's car connections... Looking forward to Part two with relish. |
