| This is an intensely emotional story. The relationship with Linda and the recounts about her parental situation reminds me of a girl I had a similar relationship with one summer. I wouldn't doubt but what this relationship actually did happen to the author, and he is just trying to write about it in his own eyes. But if that's true, then I can't help but feeling that the rest of the story might have some basis for truth too. The character's life after Linda seems absolutely depressing and maybe even a bit too realistic. Is the author telling his life story? |
