| I like a good, substantial story and this Christmas box from Julie fills the slot nicely. I enjoyed the whole plot, but I did feel a bit cheated that the villain seemed to appear fom nowhere. Perhaps I missed a vital clue somewhere earlier in the narative. There seems to be a big deal on the reduction of Iona's age from 22 to 17. Now I'm considerably nearer to 3 times Iona's real age so perhaps young people stay younger these days - and I'm unfamiliar with US school cuture to boot (especially 'proms'!)- but I don't remember being very much different when I was 22 to when I was 17. Perhaps it's because I was already working away from home at 17 and finished full time education a year earlier. 5 years is not really very long, even at that age.
