Hello Clare, Good for you! Writing your first story, or maybe posting one for the first time is a big step :-) Most comments are here to help, and i hope i can do the same. I felt like it was your fantasy, something you are really passionate about, but fantasies like dreams are disjointed and don't make much sense to anyone else. Have you ever tried to tell someone the dream you had last night, and see blank looks on their faces ? Or is that just me . Your story seemed really disjointed, bouncing from one thing to another, and no explanation to link it all together. And the people invovled seem like harsh charicatures. In a way, like Beverly mentioned, (I can only speak for myself) a story needs a plot that can be followed. All our tastes are different, but some basics make a really good story. The plot, The Characters and The Pace. Making someone who reads it to get abosorbed into that story on any level, not just a diary event from someone elses life. After all i've said sweets, keep writing! sammi x
