| Bikini Beach: Same Old Story Details |
| A solid remake of the Thurber story; you handle the style quite well, especially considering the decision to update it to the relative present. But Thurber's character really WAS going to his nemesis' apartment to kill her, making his "summation to the jury" on his way there logical to the story. Here it seems clear that your character (having read the Thurber story?) is doing what he intends to do, and his demand for her death is something of a non sequitur. Eric |

| Great Storyline!! It's nice to have a story on Role-Reversal. The men gradually turning feminine, with the women turning masculine is a concept that is very much a welcome addition to the host of stories. I think you did a great job of being direct and complete with the feminization of the boys. The only thing I would have changed, is I would have had the women turning masculine earlier in the story, instead of waiting to the end. But overall, Good Job!! Thanks for the effort. |

| What an author of fiction asks of their reader is to suspend disbelief. Every facett of the genre demands that the reader accept certain parameters. But when disbelief is pushed past its limits (as this story does) it becomes nothing. The fairytale ending, as so many are calling it, is a slap in the face to any reader with half a brain or more machismo than cooked spagetti. Even if the husband secretly DESIRED the changes, the betrayal of trust would hurt deeply evoking a strong responce. In modern society, the very thought of a straight guy suggesting wearing a dress is incomprehensible. It takes much more than boobs for a guy to pass as female. Without the ability to "pass"; a man risks humiliation and physical injury or death; let alone the perceived loss of the respect of his peers, whether it be real or imagined. |
