| How I Spent My Summer Details |
| What happened? My comments about this story have been erased, along with some others'. I wasn't the original "nasty" reviewer, but I found the story offensive, too, and tried to explain why in reasonable, non-insulting language. Are we only allowed to say good things about stories on Fictionmania? If so, what's the point of including reviews in the first place? I know this was this author's first submission to the website, but given the rather violent content of the story, I don't understand why we feel the author is so fragile they couldn't handle any negative criticism whatsoever. |

| This story is great! It has so many different elements in it that i like... well, ok, it has 3 elements in it that i like. There's the wishing... (reality alteration, whatever) and i like the restrictions (so be careful what you wish for, it can't be undone!), the end result of our hero(ine)... it's a good thing she has such a good friend, even if he IS dating her sister who used to be her girlfriend when she was a boy... And whoever heard of "Denver"?!?! I had to wipe the tears from my eyes here before i could continue reading! It's little jabs like this that i love seeing in a story. | This is so well done and so clever. No hormones, no spankings or beatings, no sodomy (yet). I kind of like Joe being there as sort of a sword of Damocles over Missy's head. I'd say if she's at this rodeo in skirts, Karen and Laura need to move him into dresses and skirts at work. The work portions are my favorite. I love seeing a boss knocked down to a femmy clerical worker. And Bob knows why he's in this positon. I'd like to see a bit more of Carol and her new staff gloating over Bob's comedown. What ever you do, though, I know it'll be great. Please don't quit. |
