| Not bad. At last, a feminization story in which the feminization isn't forced. Despite the boy's initial objections, he truly had wanted to be a girl all along. And what better one to be than a headstrong girl like Little Lulu? This is truly a nostalgia trip for me, since like this child, my favorite comics growing up were Little Audrey, Little Dot, and of course, Little Lulu. As if that should come as a surprise to anyone...=) I would like to point out what may be an anachronism. I'm assuming this story takes place around 1955, '56 or so, and I have a feeling it might not have been quite as easy in those days to change a child's birth certificate from boy to girl, especially without surgical gender reassignment. It's not all that easy now. Other than that minor little point, this was a pleasant little story. |

| Not the kind of story I usually enjoy, but this one worked for me, despite feeling a bit awkward here and there. (Sorry, all my judgements of this kind are sheer gut feel, so I can't really give specific criticisms.) Just one generic observation... Paradoxically, I find it more realistic if a story which transforms its protagonist into a "real" woman (without disastrous personal/social/work consequences to boot) accepts the facts of life and admits that it is talking magic. This applies to various DNA hand-wavings as much as to plain pills-and-surgery stuff. |

| (Sorry to double post/review) I meant Caroline talking about the revenge to the other characters was in chapter 6. Looking at the information that you told us about it a chapter before, it is surprising no one mentioned it and really impressive that you’ve planned a lot of plot lines in advance. Might have to reread the at once to remember what’s happened. I really didn’t know what they were talking about originally since it had been so long ago. Makes you wonder who the police were chasing a couple chapters back...? :) |
