GS: A Wedding to Remember     Details
A different kind of story on this forum. A story of transition without the eroticism that pervades most stories here. Refreshing and thoughtful look at some of the difficulties and concepts that define the differences between modern day men and women. I particularly enjoyed the witty, snappy dialog. There were several ocassions when you truly had me laughing out loud. Thank you. I shall look into your other stories. Also, I hope your own transition was as successful as the one depicted here.
Alice in Wonderland     Details
There is a wonderful frame for a very lengthy story here. Robert Heinlein covered a lot of it in his novel, "I Will fear No Evil". There are some problems, as yet to be clearly resolved, as I am not aware of brain transplants in higher animals. The brain is a gland and it secretes hormones that control male and female functions in other parts of the body. As was mentioned in another review, how much does the brain control the body and how much does the body control the brain. As we are all physiologically part female, there might be some reason for the latter. Wouldn't that be nice. As far as the senility issue goes, since this is a brain issue, brain related diseases may occur much earlier than the physical aging. Maybe some day all of this will be resolved. But, we can dream. The Swap     Details
A few comments - I think more could have been done with turning us into our own characters. But I must admit Anne Mal’s Epilog was a hoot! I am not going to write or do anything in revenge - it is a petty emotion unworthy of my genius! My Aunt Madam Olga is mad though - and I would watch if I you any of the writers visit a carnival - she is not the Wizard’s cousin - indeed they are rivals. I am afraid any who think their character’s or similar are off the Mark. The Wizard is the Trickster - the nameless one who stands for chaos and disorder - he is a very immoral person - also he is not interested in money. Just spreading disorder. MY Aunt _ Madam Olga is a representative of one of three fates - there are three of them - the maiden, the mother and the Crone ( right now she has turned into the mother - being Amanda Reynolds, but she is the Crone in the other stories). Her actions are not malicious - true she makes mistakes, - especially when she has been drinking. Also, she is ( truth be told ) very mercenary. She brings order - not disorder - except for her wicked Niece - everyone is happy with the changes she has made - an order - a balance has been restored - especially between Yin and Yang - her wicked Niece was punished, Amanda Reynolds learned better. I know I have not commented on the story. My restraint is to be admired - the less said the better. I know they tried their best - but - Ah well silence is golden.
SRU: Miss-Adventures of Eric and Raven     Details
Good story, but I was Tilted at the end. Looking for Part 2. Very enthralling, and delictable story. Interesting work of art.
