Great continuation! You took care of the missing Father and the erratic motherly discipline in one blow! You obviously love this story, including many details. If I had one minor critique as a reader, there might still be a few too many procedural details, such as repeated identification of speakers in two party conversations and movement descriptions that are evident in the subsequent action. These are devices an author needs to keep clear where and what the character is doing, but in the end mainly slow the reader's pace. If you re-read your piece a couple of weeks after writing it, you will catch most of them. But the main character is very well developed - intrigued by but repelled by the changes in his appearance, gradually becoming more aware of and comfortable with his potential destiny. We will love to see how you handle becoming Betty's acknowledged boy/girl friend, how you resolve conflicts when you bring Jen back into the story, and what you will do with Robbie when school starts in the fall. Homeschool and vocational school appears to be in store. And eventually this story has to have an ending. There is plenty more in the life of Robbie and her set to fill out many novels (novellas), but every good story must come to an end. Can we look forward to a flashback closing, with Robbie doing hair in June and Ruth's salon, a beautiful, contented wife? Perhaps with a coterie of other lovely "ladies" having been taken as brides by an expanded Wells Girls Club? And will June and Miss Ruth find someone for love and comfort? Pretty, gentle males? Each other?A mark of how good the story you are spinning is that the readers care and discuss what you will do with your characters. A good read! |

Cordellian, this series is one of my most favourite ever. It's fantastic! The style of writing, the evil Miss Reid, the increasing blend of her kinky plans. Oh!....Thank you so much for re-posting on here. It has worked pretty much every time I have gone on to storysite.org for (yet) another re-read over the past 13 years.I wait with baited breath to read my favourite part (part 3 at this time) and to see if there is a concluding part.As before, you're really spoiling us. It's damn appreciated! |

In the past five years I've read virtually all of the newer stories posted on fictionmania. I not only read K-W Fantasy, I've looked forward to and enjoyed every subsequent section posted since the beginning, but unfortunately, I've been most grievously disappointed for over a year now since a return Fictionmania has been rewarded with a further continuation or conclusion to clearly the best written, most engaging TG story on the net. Please don't abandon the story project, Michelle. It needs a conclusion. |

I am usually not so much into stories about transformees who can't deal with the situation. I am even less into the kind of selfrighteous cynicism the protagonist of this story portrays. To make it worse, I found your storytelling somewhat incoherent and hard to follow over all the gaps in the storyline. But even if I couldn't identify very much with the protagonist, I guess I can appreciate a probably very accurate depiction of an angst ridden teenager in search of an identity in a confusing world. And I am curious about how this tale goes on.For some reason I am hearing a song from the musical 'Hair' in my head right now:Leeeeeeeeeet the sunshine ....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhNrqc6yvTU |
