| I liked this up til the end of the summer when mom pulled the girl forever bit even though he'd cooperated and done his part. What will she and auntie do now when he feels totally betrayed and A. runs away/goes to the police or child services B. Goes catatonic C. attempts or actually commits suicide? His mom and his Aunt don't give a damn whether he's happy or not; they're only concerned with what they want for themselves. They are guilty of child abuse (Can't blame the cousins; they're just going along with the adults.) I'd like to see a sequel where he fights back. Since what she threatened at the beginning of the summer to keep him in line she does at the end even though he kept his end of the deal she really has no hold over him except physical force. |
