| I know there's a story in there somewhere, but it's just too disjoint. You need to set your story aside and reread after a week or two or better yet get someone else to read it if you can. I know sometimes this is not practical, so a multi week delay will help. Right at the very beginning you introduce a male character in drag with no warm up, character development, or plausible explanation. You then proceed to mix gender pronouns in a manner that completely confused me. I know in TG fiction, "he" and "she" can be difficult to make clear but it's essential. Last but not least are the grammatical mistakes and missing words. We all do this from time to time, but there were far too many for such a short story. See 1st paragraph. |
