| Damn, I really wanted to like this story. And it was good, as far as it went. But it was just so, so... more like a synopsis than a story. I can see lots of ways it could have been expanded. More about the 'gennetic' mom; more about the hero(ine)'s anxiety about his/her gender dysphoria... Well, you see what I mean. Sorry, don't mean to rant. JoAnn |

| Finally! A story well-structured story filled with a great deal of description that hasn't since become cliche. The only downside to this story is that the ending was a little to trite, and tied things up too neatly. |

| Normally, while I usually try to respond to reviews on a personal level, I feel I must make an exception in the case of lacie's review. 1) The reason there is no chacter deveolpment is because, as clearly stated, this is only chapter 1 of the story. The orginal concept was to creat short chapters that could be read while one is in the bathroom taking a dump on Mr. Crapper's marvelous device, there by allowing the reader the opportunity to conserve on toilet paper by using the just read pages to clean up the mess. 2) The writing stype (or lack there of)is by design, unorthodox. I don't refer to myself as the Surrealistic Wordsmith for nothing. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. That being the case, I always wanted to try my hand at applying Heller's delightfully quirky story telling to a fantasy world full of magic and mystry. In other words, while Mirror, Mirror might not be a rib tickler, my intent was to be at least somewhat humorous. Deane C |

| Very neat new twist on a old theme and very well written (like JDR would do any less). My only criticizm I could find is that the "erotica" was not very erotic. As a lover of just about everything shemale out there, it was amazing how you worked shemales into the vampire mythos. It was just kind of shocking how you took scenes that could have been some intensly erotic stuff, and just kinda breezed over them. I would love to read more works of your little vampire world! Just, as a fan, could you throw a little "smut" into it? Its so clean I could almost let my mother read it. =p Thanks for another great story! [email protected] |
