| I know I sent you a review in private, but I just wanted to go on record and say I enjoyed this story a lot. I get so tired of reading how the men/crossdressers are mistreated and somehow it is deserved. | On A Bad Day Details |
| It's great to see the Altered Fates universe is still attracting authors and producing fine fiction. This really is a nice, sexy, nasty story, and I enjoyed it very much. The writing is pretty good, although the author sometimes seemed unable to decide what verb tense to use, which was slightly distracting. Set against that though, the story was told with pace and a compelling vigour. The descriptions of the transformations were excellent, and among the best I've read in AF stories. The seduction scenes were red hot too. It's always interesting to see how author's write their stories around the "rules" of the AF universe. In this story, the "twelve hours between transformations" rule becomes critical. Although it's not explicitly stated, Toni appears to be aware of the twelve hour rule (see her remark about "perfect timing"), but how she comes to know it is not explained. All in all, a fine story and a great Fictionmania debut. I hope we see more from this author. |
