Great story! Another well written tale from the hard to find Waldo! Good characters - I wonder what happens at the base - it would intersting to see 'Bev' interact with people that know them both?

To start off with you have wonderful sense of story and great potential to expand, although the narrative form and lyric structure needs improvement. The story gives lots to the imagination with its yet unexplaned technological/magical aspects. The syntax is full of mixed and skewed cliches and too many run-on sentences. You leave too much out, waiting until later for an explanation (due because we are reading this story in first-person form and Angela isn't getting any anwsers.) Why don't you write out an explanation for the readers from the get-go (which is a great little writing trick that allows you to expand on explanations and create newer explanation to explane the explanations away). I loved your story though! (There's something about a character being asked: "So, which would you prefer, cat girl, fox girl or pony girl... " that just gets me!) The point about different characters acting the tempter role in getting new farm animals after going through the process themselves reminded me of mine own past misery.

Why, oh why can't there be a story like this where the protagonist likes what's been done to him but not how it's been done, and has the self-respect to either get revenge or at least to stop playing the manipulator's game. How much better at the end, for example, for Leslie to tear up April's envelope, leave the bar, and begin a plan to find her and...?? Or earlier in the story, to discover that Leslie had distracted April into talking to her as a girlfriend AND had secretly turned on his mini-recorder in her purse, so that he could take her to court and ruin her. Why do men who like to be women always have to be wimps?!?
