| Wait a second! If the whole thing was a top-secret plot by a secret government organization, why would they need to get Cary as an investor? They obviously wouldn't really need his money and he didn't have access to anything else they needed for the plot. Cary isn't part of the secret organization. There is no reason for him to be in the story. This last chapter really requires a rewrite to the previous chapters to remove all references to Cary or else it just doesn't fit. |

| I agree with the comments Eric made. Unless you want your main character to be disliked by the reader, don't remove any redeeming qualities that character may have. I could forgive him for killing the man who cheated on with his wife as a crime of passion but killing the girl because he MIGHT be able to steal her life? Sorry, that's asking too much. your other stories have been enjoyable and I hope to see more from you. |

| I am enjoying your story and can't wait for you to continue. I am also a a fan of the genre and, quite frankly, think that those who aren't should just read whatever it is they are looking for. Likewise with the grammatical errors. I would wager that not too many of the authors here are professional writers. I have seen plenty of stories with worse grammar and punctuation, as well as some with better. This story, I feel, is written better than most. I like what you are doing with the plot and the characters, and the way that the story is developing. I think that you are advancing the plot at a good pace, and not moving things along too quickly. Or too slowly, for that matter. Keep up the good work! |
