| I have been sitting here reading all the stories you have archived on Fictionmania. I love the theme but all the stories seem to end on a "they lived happily ever" idea. | The thing that made me most impressed about this story is that you truely made me think that this was a very scary and terrifying thing to happen to someone. I have seen somethings done very well like this, yours is up there with some of the really nasty mental horror stories I have read, so you have done really well. I would say there could have been "more" to the story - and it could certainly do with a lovely extension to make the story feel more fleshed out. You don't really get to "care" about the main character, and that is a pitty because you worked out the other parts of the story pretty well. I hope that if you plan on doing anything simular in the future you will consider expanding your characters a little more, to give your readers a chance to feel for them, and in a way, fear this really happening in real life. Otherwise, wonderful story. GD |
