| So this "thing" he is married to decides unilaterally that "she's" not happy. So she devises a typical carrot and stick programme. However, as she doesn't make any of this clear, then she is able to change everything at a whim & by doing so, he will ALWAYS lose. He is supposed to be a bright, intelligent man yet he cannot see his doom. If she said a piece of chalk was white, I wouldn't believe her and certainly would never trust her again. Next thing will be that she will out & humiliate him in public so he can never have a social life without her permission. Then she'll out him at work so she has a stay at home slave. She's already mentioned control of money once, so that will be next & that means he can never escape. Yet she still claims to love him. Mind you, he deserves it for being such an utter wimp. He'll be in a French Maids outfit sooner than you can say Eiffel Tower. |

| I've delayed commenting on this story because I have very mixed feelings. I thought the first 3 episodes were fine and I enjoyed both the writing and the plot. What I'm not so sure about is the bleak, and hopeless conclusion. I'm Ok with not having a sweet lovey-dovey ending with the erstwhile Harvey suddenly getting together with his former friend, and the sinister Patrick getting his come-uppance, but I feel you suddenly go over the top in what is certainly a story 'on the edge'. I just think it would have been more enjoyable, and perhaps even more telling with a slightly less extreme conclusion. However I did like the story on the whole and I'll certainly be looking forward to more of your contributions. |

| Nice set of twists with a fresh take on the old idea of hypnosis as a "change agent". The author has put together a very nice little tale that moves the reader along, and keeps them guessing as to what is going to happen. A clever and fun read. |

| I do like this story and I'm glad to see a copy on this site. It's an exciting idea, becoming someone very attractive but very different, and I'm sure that a lot of us here would be a lot more accepting of such a metamorphosis from the very start than was the protagonist...Well enough written despite a couple of implausibilities (use magic once in the story and the rest had better be airtight for best results). |
