| I find it my duty as a man rebut the snide remarks your Oprah character made about men in this story with a few of my own snide remarks about women. I find it interesting that the sissified men in this future society are a lot more tolerant of the boorish, chauvistic behavior of the women in this future society that would prompt modern day women to bring any number of legal actions against men intigating the same types of behavior. Just try and convince me I wouldn't be invited to leave or even thrown out of a strip club or a Hooters establishment for pinching the fanny of ladies that work at these establishments. Certainly the author of this story isn't suggesting that modern day women are just a little uptight and frivolously defensive when dealing with the same obnoxious, oafish behavior from modern day men. Also as a conservatve republican I would loved to have seen a comparison of the crime stats of the 36 states that use this drug and compare it with the state of Texas which has had success lowering its crime rates with concealed carry gun permits. Could the author also be making the case for that as well. After all it is all about economics as one of the other characters have stated. Except for the part of the boys wearing lipstick, I don't think I'd want to live in those 36 states. |
