If I was writing this now, I'd do a lot of things differently. When I look at DNA I now, especially the earlier chapters I cringe at a lot of it, but I refuse to be one of those authors who endlessly rewrites their older stories. As for Anne's deception, it's a difficult one. The first chapter, which is right up to when Jim is about to wake up after the transformation was written in one go over a couple of hours. There was no real thought as to where the story would go from there and there was none of the revision and checking I do for several days before posting each part. I just wrote it, posted it to alt.sex.stories (back in the days when there was non-spam there) and that was that. I mention Anne's guilt at what happened in some of the unpublished later chapters of DNA III I'm working on right now. As to whether I'll ever resolve it, I don't know. If I can think of a good enough story to hang around it I will.
