The Professor once again shows us just why his pen name is so appropos; this is a textbook example of great storytelling. With each release in this series, Ovid continues to grow and take on a life of its own. Characters introduced in previous stories crop up in subsequent ones, lending to the sense of realism behind Ovid. Such attention to detail is not the reason these tales are so outstanding, though. No, it is their heart, their soul, their compassion that is their real draw. Each one is engrossing to the point of distraction -- a good thing, honest -- with characters you get to know and care about. And, with each chapter, we learn just a bit more about the wonderful mystery behind Ovid. I look forward, with much anticipation, to learning more of Ovid's secrets, and to meeting more of its ever-expanding populace. Highly recommended!! (As if MY recommendation carries any weight )
Ovid 6: The Developer     Details
Greetings. Overall, I thought the story was well written and I enjoyed it. However,I do have one comment. I think the end needs to be changed. I think, instead of Louise, his sister, walking in on Brian and Kyle, I think it should have been Michelle, the friend. The person to do such a thing to Brian should not have been his sister. Michelle could have done it, with equal, and more believeable, zeal. She could have said the same words, then closed the door behind her, walk straight down stairs, find Louise and tell her that Brian had gotten spooked and left the party. The two of them could have then left to go looking for him. And in doing so, Michelle, not Louise, would have been leaving Brian to face the very situation with Kyle, that he cautioned his sister on. I think nothing would have been lost, and the relationship between the brother and sister would not have looked so sinister and spiteful at the end. Just a thought.

Your story was really well written and chilling in parts. If I was in that situation, certainly if I had legal access to a rifle, I would just stand firm and anyone who came after to me, I would shoot the perp or perps. My name and gender is sacred to me. But enough about me... Your story is one of my favourite stories on FM, the kind of story that I wish I could write and the kind of story that keeps me going to FM. I wish that I could write as well as you, but I doubt I'll ever write that well. If I was a really rich person I think I'd hire you as my personal storywriter. An idea you might be interested in-what if somebody who was convicted of murdering a girl, was turned into her in the same way that John was turned into Tami? Both as a punishment and to replace the girl he killed. It would most likely take longer, since unlike John he would be very unwilling to be changed, and he would need to be taught the likes, dislikes ect of the girl he killed so he could take her place.
