| Wow. The method used to write the story is great. The setup was great. Execution was great. The dark, reaking filth, and the creeping insanity was painfully intense. I read several genres, with SF being among them. I do not need endless explanation of scientific 'why' to feel a story is good. The story is internally consistant. That's all that mattered to me. I am also not in the camp of 'and they lived hapily ever after'. Seeing a story end the way this one did was refreshing. You did a great job of showing us the monstrosity, tanacity, tragedy, and ultimately hope of our species. In short, I very much liked the story (as if you couldn't already tell). |
