| As one who at least tries to come up with something new, I'm a bit bothered by Pretzelgirl's portrayal of cliches as not just acceptable, but inevitable. It hasn't all been done, and there are still surprises to be had, even in this limited sub-genre. Still, this is a fairly concice listing of the principal story templates used around here, and writerss would be well-advised to keep it around to make sure they're not traveling down a well-worn path. I just wish it had remained satiric, is all. |

| The ideaa that the women take on masculine characteristics as the men take on feminine ones is what fascinates me. Many of the Tg stories end up in homosexuality which is a real turn off for me. However, a masculinized woman is a much more interesting figure. I wish that someone would take this "setup" and develop it. The part where Mrs. Talcott becomes so much larger and stronger than the protagonist and it is not simply an overt dom scene. That's what should be developed. Is there a name for this sort of thing? Does anyone know where more can be found? |
