| So the TGfiction road most traveled, at least it is if this is the last episode. Tim has pretty mich caved in to being a kept woman. Too bad. I can't imagine he likes himself much right now. I really thought that when he moved to the windows and Rick started his musing that there would be a crash as he tried to break the window and jump and Rick would just barely reach him in time. Then I thought he would take the offer to keep the ring and move away. That seemed logical to me, as I don't see how he could ever trust let alone like Rick or Ms. Lawrence again; he had been given a choice, he made it, and they had broken their word and acted just as if he had made the choice they wanted. If Rick wasn't lying about the ring (And how could he be sure he wasn't) he would have the money to live pretty close to the same lifestyle as he was "enjoying" but without the two people he has to at this point dislike intensely. But then, of course, he has to suspect that the choice isn't real, and that just like the last time, if he makes it, they'll do something to him to make him do what they want - like brainwashing, etc. He knows they have no honor now. |

| ahhh!... the story... so like most of your other stories... expertly executed.... well crafted... thought out, and told.. but?... a tired theme... almost reminds me of my "robert ludlum" daze... i'd SWEAR... he had his PLOT book all laid out... plot.. subplot...plot... and?... you have MORE talent than that... i've read an extrapolation or two of yours... where you dared to take chances.... this, however, is the same old story... rehashed/revisited... don't get me wrong, i LOVE your work.. still?.. i do hope... you'll find it within you to be a bit more daring... in your future works... and... publisher's advances be damned... lmao... thanks again, joan... |

| You know, I just got done saying I didn't have enough time to read all the great new stories that keep getting posted, but 'tis the season after all, and it wouldn't be right to leave a holiday special waiting. This was another cute entry in the 'Mixed-Up' series. It stands on its own but is definitely made better if you read the preceding adventures of Carl(y) and Felicia. While the transformation and Carl's obvious if restrained enjoyment of the finer, more feminine things in life are the draw, I keep coming back to each new installment for the super sweet and loving relationship. Should it be continued? Sure, if you want. But I'll be disappointed if we don't get the payoff of getting to see Carly enjoy a night out as a puck bunny. |
