| This is an okay story. It's well-written and imaginative, but not a very realistic premise. The suspension of disbelief never happened with me. I kept reading and thinking, 'Yeah, but this could never really happen.' It's an enjoyable story and you did a good job of writing, but please consider putting more effort into making us believe -- no bureaucracy is that messed up and why wouldn't most of these guys just get fake id's and start new lives under assumed male names instead of getting radical surgery and hormone treatments? |

I suspect that more than a little was autobiographical. there were parts I could relate to as I had been in similar spots. I have been a girl since birth but had a huge defect.
