A great chapter as always, Sandy! As always, your writing is succinct and superb, not a wasted word. I love the scene with Cindy, when she challenges Sandy about looking so feminine and not wearing the pants in the family. The scene in the shop buying the bell-bottoms, cowled white sweater and suede booties was marvelous fun to read too. I just love the “compliment” comeback to Cindy’s comment about Emily being a lesbian! Please keep going? -- Leslie

The ending was strangly prophetic, in a creepy sort of way, considering that this was posted on the 12th and the latest episode of Tuck didn't come out until today, the 15th. But maybe I'm just dreaming. Nice work, although I suspect that Eugene's nightmares are *even worse* somehow. But I thought the operating scene with the rather visceral "chose what you lose" scene was right on the money.

What can I say? This is probably one of the most original stories on FM, and beautifully written to boot. I enjoyed every word. It's a pretty obvious plot to use multiple personality disorder in a TG story, but I can't recall ever reading one before. I'm just peeved I didn't think of it myself *grin*. I particularly like the opening paragraphs when we weren't told that Theresa and Bill were, in fact, the same person. It made it even more intriguing that Teresa was aware of Bill, but Bill was totally unaware of his feminine alter ego. I suppose the revelation of the rather unique relationship between Tabby and Aaron was entirely necessary, but I found the conversation between Aaron's mother and the two teenagers quite entertaining, if somewhat surreal and unlikely. btw the history of the Alamo may be familiar to US citizens, but we Brits have only the vaguest knowledge of it, and that due entirely to films. IIRC, either Davy Crocket, or Jim Bowie was that last to die, depending on who the hero of the particular film was. None of the other defenders of the fort figure in my brain at all. In fact I have a sneaking suspicion that Mexico had as much right to the territory as any other group of largely European immigrants. I could be wrong, of course ;o) Any way, thanks a lot, Theresa. I hope your fertile imagination encourages your writing skills again in the not too distant future. 'Night and Day' will certainly feature in my personal list of the very best FM has to offer. Geoff
