| 21 years later attitudes are even worse in many parts of the world for transgender people. This especially includes trans kids who in many states in the US are now denied life-saving medical care by law. Physicians who treat them can face felony charges. Yes, like many other reviewers, I cried when I read this. I shook my head as I read about support for LGBTQ kids from clergy and law enforcement. Not where I live. Willful ignorance and bigotry kills. There's nothing wrong with you; there's something wrong with the world. Stay strong! |

| Another great story! Lately though i've seen a few complaints about "dumping" characters and not following their lives a bit more... So far every one of these stories is about the acctual Gender change and how the character copes with the sudden changes...and eventual accepance. However, in some cases the character is too busy to even think about their new gender...(like Toxic) or some are so accepting that they just shrug it off.. (like "Grendel's Mum") but i do agree... some of the characters you kinda get stuck on, and want to read more about... Most ppl from what i've seen like Witch Girl and Hexx... Especially Hexx, her story of acceptance, and learning her powers was pretty cool... but she has one brief encounter with asshole..err Force...and then the story's over. I wonder if Mr. Force will suddenly become a cat lover.... >.> |
