| Excellent. I assume you already have the sequel in mind. Otherwise, there was no reason for Eve to leave the staff laying there. It was right by her feet, and Mystik had told her it was the source of Loki's power. She could have put it one of her stasis bubbles, dumped it in the Empty, or gone via the Empty to drop it into a pool of lava or into the void of space. I've said it before, but I'll repeat it here: Mystik would be the best character of all the Legacy stories to explore gender issues with. She has the option to be male or female for long stretches of time, by choice. |

| This story was extremely well written, and consitently engaging. I found the merging of mythology and the modern world quite effective. THe thing that got me was that you cared about all of the chatacters . . . even the supporting ones. The story was touching, and I even found myself misty-eyed. This story is a refreshing departure from the usual stories that are told and retold here on the FM site. I must agree that I didn't ahve any idea how this would end, all of the way up to the actual ending. I encourage anybody who is reading this review to read the story. It is very satisfying. |
