| Wow. What an incredible story, I loved it, and like the others I felt Melissa's suffering the whole way through, especially at the end. However unlike most of the others I don't neccissarily want to see a sequal to this, Melissa's spirit is already broken, and once that happens a story can't really focus on that character anymore. However I would appreciate your assitance on a project i am currently working on, please e-mail me. |

| Hi Pamela, Thanks for telling me about this story!! How I remember saying my prayers and asking God to turn me into a girl in the morning!!! He didn't and I had to finnally make the changes myself!! But, I really enjoy being a woman these days!! You did your usual excelence in writing a story so as to make me live it in my mind as I read it!! I cried many times thinking about the times I went through similar activities as Timmy!! | Wow! What a well written story! This one pulled me in from the start and was quite a treat. It reads more like a serious fantasy novel with heavy TG elements, than TG fiction. The plot is interesting, the characters are believable, and the setting is wonderfully real for a "medieval times" fantasy. I was also impressed by Ms. Dewinter's exploration of the protagonist's psychology. Changing gender roles is too often treated as a cheap thrill, or taken for granted. Not so in this story. The protagonist's thoughts and feelings are fully explored in a believable, insightful way. I was a bit put off from beginning this story by the sheer length. But I'm very glad I did. It's easily the BEST TG story I've read this year. And in the running for my favorite ever. If you're looking for a real story, rather than a quick thrill, this is a MUST READ. Bravo Brandy Dewinter! NOTE: This review is my reaction to the whole story, not just the first part. There are NO bad chapters here though, so dig in! |
