I have done peer reviews for some of the most advanced scientists in this country. Their work is outrageously constrained in format, grammar, spelling and style. The editors who review these works are likewise constrained and subjected to extreme standards for publication. I have frequently found anomalies of all kinds in their works, and, no, I am not a proof reader or editor. The points being, do your best, strive to improve, and do not sweat the small stuff. The story is the thing, (abusing the dear Bard, Billy Shakespeare). The story was interesting and realistic, (it does seem a bit odd to say this in a "fiction" site; well re: the realistic aspect). See, can you tell, I am not an editor? I enjoyed the story very much. I found the lead character and the others to be interesting and worth knowing, I felt concern for them. The story drew me in regardless of format and editing. If one has trouble following this story try Middle and Old English, or Swiss French. Concern yourself not with the flamers, what are they doing on this site anyway? Do they write or are they like the critic that Teddy Roosevelt cites? Thank you very much for your efforts and insights; I believe I understand them far too well.

This story was really well written and just the right length. I noticed it hadn't been read as many times as some stories which are much worse and I would encourage the author to continue the good work and submit more stories! If I have one critisizm it's that there could have been more physical descriptions of the main character, especially his/her clothes. Thanks for a great read! PENNY BOOTS
