| I thought I commented on the first version of this chapter, but maybe I just thought about commenting. I don't remember there being problems, but then I read for story and don't worry too much as far as punctuation and sentence structure go. Plus, some disjointedness and confusion wouldn't surprise me in a first person narrative like this. What I thought at the time and I'm still curious about assuming that Amber will be recovered soon is where Elizabeth's story will go from there? Rachel - Thanks for sharing. |

| Honestly, I wasn't feeling this story. I originally thought that John would learn a lesson from this entire ordeal (perhaps a change of attitude towards his life), but the moral was basically "Your life would be infinitely better if you were born a girl. No exceptions." The activities June and Joan do together seem almost too perfect - who would sing a duet of "I'll be home for Christmas" when they find out they're snowed in, or double marry and check each other's genetalia for certain diseases? It just seems as if the two exist as a single person. As mentioned before, the G-cup breasts and the thirty-woman orgy sully what would be a perfectly fine, vanilla story, and Santa's existence is explained too quickly. You have potential, Roy. You just need to keep personal fetishes out of your writing. |
