| So Marshall is punished for expressing his opinion in a free country. It reminded me of Theo Van Gogh who was murdered for expressing his opinion in another free country; The Netherlands. His sin? Directing 'Submission', a film critical of the abuse of women in Islamic society. Your fictional Abdul is just as bad as the real life murderer of Van Gogh. His thought at the end of chapter one, that Marshall had to be punished because of a perceived insult to Abdul's culture, just made me sad. The story may be quite good, but I didn't get beyond the first chapter because it was too close to reality. Just my opinion. |

| I want to say that I really liked this story, the first part was well done, well written and really classy. I enjoyed this second part but I want to put one caution to that, I think it needs proofreading, I know Im guilty of submitting things that are not as clean as they should be. The story starts with. An ashamed look on his face as I stand looking down at his naked form This is the first line of the story and it should be a grabber but it distracted me. My take on the first line would be: An ashamed look appeared on his face as I stood looking down at his naked form. I am not a gramarian and I like the flow of the story and I submit it needs tweaking... Good Job.. Rebel |
