Hi. I really was captured by this story. I was more than 1 hour late for work as I lost track of time trying to absorb the story. Having said the story was wonderful, I'll go on to say this. The biggest flaw I find in TG fiction and my biggest peeve about romantic fiction in general is the endings are often quickly tied up after having dragged out the exposition (opening) of the story. After we get to like the characters... *poof* its 3 years later they're getting married and everyone lived happily ever after. I really like to read a story where the ending is given as much care as the beginning. "The Professor" is one such author. Read "his" stories to see how its done.
Just One Day Of Your Life     Details
An absolutely sweet story. As all of these little tales require some suspension of belief, I was more than happy to believe that all of Petra's co-workers would accept her as a girl quickly and unequivically. Since I'm a 66 Y/O TG whose wife is just as supportive as Petra's mum, I can also recall the day's I would rifle thru my sisters stuff and together with her skirts and my mom's heels, dance around the living room aping Annette and Doreen on the Mickey Mouse Club. 15 years old and wishing I could have a chest like Annette! Andromeda: The Beginning     Details
I found this story as refreshing as the first light of morning. We have each felt the paranoia of being found out and this illustrates both the fear and the irrationality that accompanies it. Sometimes we know it doesn't make any sense to worry, but we do anyway. More than anything else, this story encourages all of us to go out and be ourselves; sexuality isn't in the clothes or the sex act itself, but in the daily living of who you are. Being positive and assured in what you are doing covers a multitude of sins, even a 5 o'clock shadow that makeup doesn't cover. Unlike the fantasies that we mostly read here, this is a welcome outlook at the reality and loneliness that accompanies much of the TG existence. The message here is to have faith in oneself and take the step to being who you are. I hope we hear more about taking the steps out the door as yourself, not letting what other people think bother you. Well done!

I love this story (been following it on Topshelf, but I'm glad it's here too) It's interesting given the psychiatrist's suggestion that the creation of Jessica is to allow Lisa to feel more comfortable with Brian Maybe this solution is also allowing Jim to be more comfortable with Kenny (seeing Kenny with jessica may be more acceptable to Jim than Kenny's regular dates) *sigh* who can understand mundanes....... I like that it points out the "regular gay" discomfort with T*s but doesn't bash you over the head sermonizing (unlike the scene in the movie Flawless, where the Gay Pride parade argument over TV/Drag/TS inclusion didn't really seem to fit the rest of the movie)
