| There's no drama or plot to this story, characters acted in a dreamlike way, and it's just too inane. Also part of what I liked about Shisutabooi was that the author knew their Japanese culture well...but this story made mistakes almost every time it brought Japan up. Kung Fu movies are Chinese. Mina and Opsuma aren't Japanese names (the latter can't even be spelled in Japanese). Women aren't allowed to be real police officers - regardless, the chances of a police officer being shot in Japan are almost zero. And so on. |
