| I liked this story but i feel bad for Betsy. Erin and her previous relationship with Betsy made me think about me and my mom, so this story hit a little close to home. | Good stuff contained herein, though nothing brilliant. The idea is fairly original though the absolute vapidness of the father and son towards their transformation leaves much to be desired. A longer story could be done, but it would be difficult; this story goes the proper route, by being short and succinct. The prose could have used tweaking to make it more grammatically correct and colorful, but the absense of needless description strengthens the narrative; we get the core of the story and not much in the way of junk food. All in all, a good story, but certainly short of excellent. |

It's nice that we all want to comment and believe we can help as you consider where to take the plot. If you think about it, this is really a rare phenomenon that people get invested in the story. You are definitely doing something right! Hopefully we can get to the point like in the old westerns 1) The bad guy gets his comeuppance (Chuck, the hacker, conspiracy collaborators) 2) The evil plot is defeated in spectacular fashion (Hey Judith and Harriott, get on the stick!) 3) The protagonist (Cammie) is vindicated 4) The good guy (Alex) gets the girl (Cammie) 5) Something about riding into the sunset ;-D While I don't comment to get included in a story, it is heartwarming. Last time was when a quot;villagequot; like this grew up around quot;Halloween for Lifequot; where a group of fans of the story took it up after the original author stopped writing it. Anyway, again... Thanks for the story. |
