| Brandy, I have read this story two or three times since you first posted it. It is a wonderful emotionally charged story. The characters are beautifuly crafted and the ineraction between them is flawless. A well written and throughly enjoyable story. I guess it may be a factor in my enjoyment that I am old fashioned enough to believe in duty, honor, and loyalty. The main reason that I am writing however, is because I have just finished your story Milady's Wiles. If anything it is even better. Will there be a part 2 to either of these stories? | This is my kind of story...I enjoy reading magical transformations. Interesting he is changed into his mother gradually, body and mind, while still retaining the knowledge of who she used to be. Since the story is told in the "first person", it doesn't surprise me that we never hear the name of the protagonist...but what does surprise me is how the brother and sister come back from skiing, and somehow don't miss their brother. Towards the end, this story becomes very sweet, as though whatever changed him into the mother also helped him enjoy life as a woman. And its nice that at the end, he still knows who she once was, and she still wouldn't change anything. |
