| great story! I think you could actually go into a comic series with this 9and the others). First off, I like the whole feel of the universe. You've thought it through, given it some terminology and a decent consistency. It isn't "Earth" the way we know it, but it feels like a real place. Second, Scott discovers her powers gradually and accidentally. It doesn't just come from a booming voice in the sky or a burning bush. theoretically, she could have not discovered them and just tried to live her life. Nice touch. However, a few gotchas are in there too. Check your spelling and phrasing. A quick proofread after you've been away from the story a few days. And why is food and eating such an obsession? It is mentioned several times. I realize homeless people are often hungry and do scrounge for food a lot, but from a dramatic point of view, you mentioned the food issue several times but didn't use it. Nothing in the story reveolved around it, there was no critical (or non-critical) plot point that touched on it. Scott simply idly wished she had more food from time to time. Its a little blah. Scott had a period early in the story. Good touch, shows detail. But was it red blood? White, clear, green/blue/yellow ? I'mnot trying to get into scat here, it is a serious question. One of the things that makes us look as we do is the red blood in our veins and arteries. Even albinos are pinkish, and dark skinned people certainly have a significant red component in their coloring. Scott is alabaster white. Her blood should be too (unless there is something else going on...) Lastly, I was looking for a different dramatic tension in Scott and her former maleness. She had a lot of drive and motivation due to wanting revenge upon Force. But she also felt male down deep. I thought you might explore that more. If maleness is forever lost, you get one kind of psyche, acceptance though it may be bitter and damaged. But if it is somehow recovereable, even if at great cost or difficulty and only temporarily, you get another. Sort of The Hulk or The Werewolf syndrome, except in this case the person desires the change and has trouble acheiving it. Would Scott wish to continue as Lady Hexx if she could acheive maleness again, but only by living isolated on some island or on a high mountain peak or some other place or doing some difficult thing (constant anger/orgasm/hunger/intoxication)? That would, I think, be a good kicker for her inner life and backstory. But, I'll say it again, I think it was a great story. I'll be looking for Marvel to pick it up soon! |

| This is a good transformation story, but you didn't say how John felt about the change. What was John's reaction to his change? Was he shocked or pleased? John didn't seem to react at all so I figured he was pleased. Or was his mind changed to like his changes?Anyway, good job. |

| A delightful story of revenge and magic! I really enjoyed the way the alcohol and general conviviality of the party kept the two of them from realizing what was happening until it was too late! Wonderful work. |
