| I have often wondered about the cooks in the kitchen - who they are, nationality, etc., if they like their job, if they ever do anything to the food if it is sent back, how much they get paid, etc. I now have a special place in my heart for them, after reading about your experiences. In regard to Bourdain, I never watched his show, since I try to stay away from CNN (I watch FOX). I got annoyed at him when he said something bad about Trump. Anyway, I still cannot figure out why a successful person kills himself/herself, when they are "on top of the world." But then why did Karen Carpenter basically kill herself - nobody, including her brother, was able to make her see what she was doing to herself! Ah, the mysteries of life... |
