| Another good tale from Marianne. If the end is a little hurried I think that may be excused. I agrree with Geoff that the Brit idiom does make it so much easier to read. Sam V may be at home with American but I so often find myself wondering what the author (of American stories)is talking about because I don't know enough about American culture (?) (that's for the Brits) to understand what is going on. I like this scenario and I feel that more could be done with it, 'Hell hath no fury' could take on other cases. I did wonder about the ending, but the clue is there at the beginning and if you print a hard copy it is much easier to understand. And why didn't he say that they had the wrong guy? I didn't really find a problem here because as the narrative picked up pace, as many of Marianne's stories do, it became irrelevant, because this guy had to go along with it to meet the wife at the end to get to... oh read it again, I'm sure you'll get it.
