| Well done, I wonder why Jake in Cricket's boy is making a better adjustment than Cricket. The plot is developing well & I am looking forward to the finish - I hope its SOON! I suspect at least 2 more installments Very good scenes with the new Cricket in her borrowed familyu and home and the meeting with Ty was well handled. But I'm afraid that I must disagree with the statement that blacks can not be predjudice against whites. Of course they can.It would be amazing if they were not. Predjudice begets predjudice. Its not as often, but it can happen. I have been with black friends in their churchs & homes, & with them & felt very welcomed, but I have also been in situations ( rare) where black predjudice was very evident. It seems to be part of the human condition. In many lanuages the word for stranger means Barbarian. |

| After reading all the flamewars on the hyperboard, I read this story to see what it was all about. I could add fuel to the fire but I will not do that. Here is my review instead. The transformation of the boys was well drawn out, and told with good detail. from there the story took a turn for the worse, It was to violent for my taste. The Epilogue added by Anne-Mal does make this fit into Bill Harts Spell's-R-Us universe. I give this *1/2 out of 4 *'s |
