| Another excellent outing from Morpheus. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if professional literary agents aren't banging down his door. A few minor nitpicks- Granted it would vary depending on the person, but Michael/Michelle reacts rather calmly to turning female. Unless they were transgender/sexual to start w/, most guys, especially someone his age would react in a blind panic. If a person was that way, they'd react happily I bet, but still w/ a lot more confusion as to why/how it was happening. The daemon attacks in Michelle's hometown and the place in Australia requires more than a little suspension of disbelief. In our age of instant Twitter updates on whatever's happening in the world, the notion that such an event wouldn't be broadcast all over the web, along with accompanying pics, sending every newscopter in the area racing there and broadcasting it all over the world seems a little farfetched. Even if the story was set in the past before such tech came out, the chances of even a small town anywhere in America suddenly being cut off entirely from the outside world seems highly unlikely. A minor note-Morpheus favorite phrase "She/He/I blurted out" once again makes multiple appearances. :) None of this keeps this from being a highly enjoyable story though. How bout some more Academy or Were stories, O high lord of tg fic? |
