"Well I was told I'd be like this until my debt was cleared," said John. "Me too," answered Tim, "but it's been three years so far. Don't plan on leaving soon."

Very sweet story. A wife who loves and joyfully embraces her husband's femme self is every married CD's fantasy - except for the, I imagine, very small very lucky percentafge for whom it is true (sadly, not me)

Paul, you're beginning to frustrate ME. First of all, these are not stories. If you actually tried harder, we might be able to classify them as character sketches. But for that you need characters. You don't have enough going here now to even make sterotypes. In fact, I implore you to use a stereotype. It would actually add depth to your story! First, let's start with the characters. What do we know about the characters in this story? Absolutely nothing! It comes close to the point where we have to assume that John is male and Jennifer is female. OK, they're boyfriend and girlfriend. Have they just started their relationship? Have they been together for a while? Is their a competetiveness in the relationship? Any tension? Has John strayed? Is he chauvenistic? Hell, why are they even skiing in the contest? (You don't get to say because the script said so!) Who or what is Jack Frost? Does he/she (from now on I'll assume 'he') have any powers? Any limits? Why does he take an interest in John and Jennifer? Is he a mischief maker? Does he miss the old gender roles? Has he been slighted by the couple? By John? By Jennifer? Hell, is he just bored? And who is Melissa? I can't even write a paragraph questioning her, because all 'she' is is a name in paragraph 1. Hell, where are they and why? The Rockies? The Alps? The Hymalyans? Alasks? The most we have here is a mountain that has snow cover? So what's the scorecard so far? No characters, No setting! What about plot? Well you have something which may pass for a conflict (the soft bigotry of low expectations applies here), but barely an introduction and no conclusion whatsoever. Yet there's barely any tension, in that cnflict (in part because there aren't any characters, but also because it's crafted so badly no one's completely sure what's going on.) and as was point out before, the ending only raises more questions than you obviously intended. That right there is three strikes! Have you read some of the stuff you've sent in. Take a week, a month away from here, then search your name and read some of what you've submitted. The more you try to prove yourself, the less readable you becomes. In fact, when you next write something, when you feel the urge to send it in to FM. Wait! Ride a bike, do your taxes, go shopping, just do something non-author related. Completely forget about your story. After you've fully and completely forgotten about what you wrote, read it. If you are puzzled as to what was going on, well that's how I feel. If you feel you need to add something to clarify, expand or what not, go ahead and add it. Maybe, just maybe, that will turn your efforts into full character sketches. And you can turn THAT into a full fledged story!

The dialogue. The ambivalence. The mental anguish. This series delves much deeper into the personality, into the conflict of “who am I” of a cross dresser than any other that I have read. Of course, the fact that it is situated in New York is a real plus in my opinion. That makes the obligatory psychiatrist sessions seem routine. Also the lack of progress after four years! Thanks for sharing.

Wonderful story I’m loving it, I am not impressed by the outdated attitude Of the desk Sargent but I’m sure that would be the Met polices attitude firmly in the dark adages loving your characters and the story is superb Looking forward to the next one Love Joci xxx
