I liked the theme of the story - telling that transgender process is not all that easy. One note - GG's get to learn over many years and a TG has to learn overnight. That includes friends and relationships. On that aspect the story is unreal - Chrissy readily had so many friends and totally passable. Also she was able to be as good at martial arts as before??? like right away, taking on a mugger wearing her heels? Also her body weight and strength would be different - so her moves couldn't be as great. But her first love moving on - that is real - think it happens to trans females. I liked her training a youth who was much like her - a nice touchOther than that - it was interesting fairy tale. |

Terrific story, Paul, a very nice, kinda bitter-sweet tale...but overall, a nice, positive read. By the way, I appreciate the observation about Fictionmania, liking most of the stories, but being turned off by some of the stories that include meanness and cruelty. I feel much the same way about those kind of stories, and I'm glad someone else shares my feeling.A good effort...best of luck in the contest! |

I agree with Paula Eagan. I do like the charm of your story. Hell with it being short, it was fun. |

Hi Janet:I felt bad for not leaving feedback for the writers before so I decided to go back and leave a note or two for my favorite writers to say how much your work has meant to me.I loved this story because I could understand and relate to Jeff/Janet all to well. I could feel Janet’s pain and joy and many times I was moved to tears. There are few writers who not only fully understand the pain a Transsexual goes though in life let alone explane it so clearly.Janet Stickney is on of my favorite writers of TG fiction I wish her the best and would like to see her return to writing I miss her.Luv Jenna |
