| Here's an unexpected and vivid transferral of gender. I noticed that some of the reviews question the moral implications of the male character's decision. That feeling is provided by the development of that character. "Brad" is not a sympathetic individual, and that appears to be the point. Another question that the aforementioned trait answers is "Brad's" rationale for not improving the looks of his conquest. I imagine this will be explored further as the story continues, too. Suspense is used in more ways than one; the unexpected nature of this story evolves from the decisions of the main character instead of simple magic or technological devices. That makes it special. |

| Competently written, to be sure, with the hint of something worth developing in the main character's second chance at greatness. Is it just me, though, or are all "Altered Fates" stories becoming basically the same? Person finds necklace, does some body swapping, and then winds up stuck as a child when someone breaks into their house and steals the thing. There's an opportunity for more creativity here which is only partially realized. |

| Just a comment to clear things up. judge herns reads emotions not minds and davids mind was in a very confused state at the time which would have clouded the issue. about knowing of dianes ans susans health problems. remember daivid told mark the whole story just before he ran off the help susan. and mark being in AV instead of peace river, well kelly was supposed to explain it in AV19 as she knew 6 months ago what was in my story. bye from prue |
