| Crossing the Line, Part Three Details |
| Thanks for the story. It largely fit my cup of T. (Voluntary if reluctant change. No physically undoable modifications.) The characters are true to themselves and somewhat honorable in their own way. The story while complete in itself (and for me a classic in its form) also made me want to learn more about what happens to the characters next I was sad to see Sophie leave the scene. What or who takes her place? What is Diane like? Why did she set this up? What did she want from this? How does the relationship between her and Trevor/Jacquiline progress? Now that T/J has had a chance to experience the rewards(?) of "honest"(?) work, what does he think of his current situation. If there is one line that sold me on this story it was where he says "someone has to go and its going to have to be me." That made the character for me. I would love to read more about what happens to him, and to Sophie. I would love to find out who Diane is. And what furthur plans she might cook up. The characters have the potential of becoming three dimensional. Thanks again for a perfect trap story. Spice and Dreams -- Jynjer P.S. | As others have said, not a pleasant read, but very powerfull. I appreciate this, especially as many of the reviews on more recent stories seem to suggest this sort of outcome... I'll point them in this direction. |
